It actually is an extension of the sciatic nerve; sciatica not only affects the back but the front as well. I was going to the chiropractor consistently and that helped a bit. </p> <p>But yeah it was awful awful awful... oh if only it was the cervix dilating lol!!</p> <p>Oh! My OB said it'll only go away from giving birth. I was 32 weeks. It did go away about a couple of weeks after I gave birth. But it was quite painful. I couldn't lift my my left leg at all w/o feeling a sharp pain. Now I have right hip pain and I'm 5 months pp. Yay. I hear the ligaments loosening stays with you until you're done nursing. It's really sharp and just shoots down then it's gone. I've been getting them alot today. Did this happen to you? I've read it could be my cervic dialating? How long before labor did this start happening to you? I'm not worried I'm just hoping it's my body getting ready for labor in the next few weeks. </p>
