I grew up traveling a lot, but lived in a conservative area. The first person in my area I saw who didn't shave was my friend's mom, she was an artist. I still remember, she was like... a liberating influence on me. Anyhow. Then my sister went to an east coast hippy influence uni and most people didn't shave. Anyway.</p> <p>I think we all shaved (I have several sisters) when we turned 11- going into 6th grade? I'm not sure when I would "allow," it, I'll have to wait and see. But, surely at least not before she asks about it.
