We used these instead of a swaddle. It doesn't give as much mobility as a zipadee, but I feel like if they flip they can still push up with their hands. But I only used my not truly sleep safety kosher hack when baby was sleeping in a crib in our bedroom right next to me. Ugh. We started by swaddling with one arm out for a few days to make it easier. You could try that? It gets bad too once they know how to crawl/pull up! have you tried a zipadeezip? Like taking an hour to fall asleep, waking up every 30 minutes because she's pulling out her paci, pulling her hair, trying to eat her clothes, trying to touch the wall, you get the picture. We started swaddling her very tightly in one of the Summer infant swaddle me velcro swaddlers. It worked for a few days but she's started busting out of it and waking up again. I think she might be too big for it but I know that people usually stop swaddling at this age, not start. Should I see if I can size up? Should I go the traditional swaddle route? Do I need to double swaddle? What was your experience with a flailing baby and what solutions worked for you? </p>
