I just had the lo I watch measured and he measured just shy of an 8, we wound up buying a pair of Stride Rite shoes in 7.5 that have a little room to grow and he still wears Crocs that are 6/7 comfortably, however the size 8 Keens were almost impossible to get on him. He has several size 8 hand me downs waiting for him and they are all way too big at this point.

The other family I work for has always had issues with Stride Rite running a bit big as well.

So long story short-- I would figure out which brands you like best and you will eventually be able to guess what will fit next and order online. Otherwise I vote you stick with places with free shipping both ways :).

My LO's foot is a different size in many shoes. In converse it even depends on the style of shoe for what size she'll be. I only buy in store so I can try them on her.

@cheesetomywhine: I did try on the SKRs, the Stride Rites, and the Keds in the store. Ended up buying the Keds and Robeez online. I've had a different pair of 9-12 SKRs for about a year that I tried on her today. She's nowhere near being able to wear them.

@Weagle: thanks! So she is all over the place as well. Did you try on in-store before buying online (if you buy online)?

LO wears 0-6 in Robeez, 6-9 in SKR, 4 in Keds with room, and her fort is still too small for a 3 at Stride Rite. She also has a very narrow foot, which is not the norm for babies.

I had R's foot measured at striderite and was told she was a 3. However I had her try on a pair of 0-6 month pedipeds and they fit her perfect. I held her foot up to a pair of size 3 soft sole converse and they were much bigger than her foot. She also wears 0-6 robeez. So my question- do striderite run small? Am I doomed to only buying in store? Help!
