@abbydabbydoodlebug: Hmmm I'm not sure about the SKR with wide feet. I think my LO's width is average and they are a little wide on her, so they'd probably work depending on just how wide your LO's feet are. I have a pair of SKR Zoe shoes that I'm planning to sell (my fave summer shoes from last summer!), but it sounds like they will be too small on your LO.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: oh that does make a difference! I still think black would be good, but silver would be more spring and summery!

@jedeve: The picture is deceiving a little bit. It's actually light pink and black bunnies. It wasn't great lighting when I took the picture. Here's the stock photo. Do you think silver will look ok with it?

Is the dress white and black? I might just get some black Mary Janes. I don't know is the silver would go?

It's a super cute dress!

@yoursilverlining: It's from H&M! I just got it this weekend. She actually already had a dress for Easter, but I had to get this one. It's so darn cute. I love it.

@Foodnerd81: I'll keep an eye out on the classifieds too. I always forget to check there.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I know! And I feel like proper footwear is especially important right now as they are learning to walk and everything, so I don't want to buy super cheap stuff, but I also don't feel like spending a ton of money on shoes she will wear for three months. Babies.

I also got a pair of super cute see Kai run smallers on the classifieds here. :)

That dress is SO CUTE!!!! Where is it from?

You could definitely do black, or what about pink? That would give the outfit a pop of color. I think silver would work too.

My LO's feet don't grow too fast, so her shoes lasted her both spring and summer.

@Foodnerd81: Ok, thank you! That's exactly what I was wondering. Shoes are so expensive for only wearing for 3 or so months! Ugh, kids are such a money pit. Haha.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: to your question about sizing- C's feet grow in spurts so to impossible to predict. But it seems like every three months is standard to need new shoes. So I don't think anything you buy now is likely to fit over the summer.

I got c a pair of Livy and Luca Mary janes from steals.com that are cute and good for proper foot and gait development. They have soft suede soles but have thicker grippy parts on them (as opposed to robeez soft soles that are very thin).

I would just get what you like now and assume she will need new ones this summer anyway.

So my daughter started walking a month ago and is getting more stable so I need to get her some shoes to go with her easter dress and other summer dresses this summer. I'd like something high quality for good foot development, but I'm trying not to spend over $25. I would automatically go for white or silver but her easter dress is light pink and black. Would silver shoes look OK, or do I need to get black ones? I'm terrible at styling. I need help, lol.

Eta: would she even be wearing the same shoes this summer? Or would they be too small? I'm not sure how fast kids feet grow! She's a 4.5 wide as of a couple weeks ago.
