I wear a 12W and typically shop at Nordstrom's, Clark's, and zappos.com.

This is awesome! Thanks everyone. I hate hate hate buying shoes online (well, my husband hates when they arrive and then having to ship them all back) so now thanks to you all I've got a nice list of places to visit over the next few weeks ;)

I've got wide feet. My nicest wide width shoes are from Nordstrom. I like the Van Eli brand. I wear Crocs flats as well. They're super comfortable and wide too. I'm currently on the hunt for nude wide flats and heels.

Aldo! Their shoes are generally more narrow, but I have them stretch it out with their shoe stretcher. It's the most comfy shoes ever because they fit in the width for heels!!

For tennis shoes, I like Nike. Puma's are waaaaay too narrow. ouch!!

I know Nordstrom is good about carrying wide sizes and I have had good luck with Payless too. I prefer Nordstrom for everyday options since they hold up better but for dress shoes Payless is perfect.

My feet are wide, not sure how wide. Nine West are the most comfortable heels I wear and the price is great too.

All my dressy shoes are from Payless and I just buy them in Wide.

(I used to wear a 9 before someone pointed out that shoes come in wide and then I realized I was really a 7.5W!)

For work shoes, I've been getting them at Famous Footware. I've found both Dr. Scholl's flats and Clarke's in wide.

I have been wearing Danskos for a while now. I only get the mule-type with no backs and they have to have adjustable straps to custom fit the width. The wedge/platform heels give me back support so my feet are never tired and I wear business or business casual attire every day.

During pregnancy, I have been wearing these because they are a lower heel and they have good gripping on the bottoms for stability. I've had to adjust the straps 2-3 times as my feet have changed. They are SO comfortable. They also don't look quite so awful and orthopedic in real life - they just look like simple dress sandals.

http://www.amazon.com/Dansko-Womens-Isabel-Dress-Sandal/dp/B00E18EQUC

When not pregnant, I wear ones that are a little higher, like these:

http://www.amazon.com/Dansko-Sophie-Womens-Sandal/dp/B005DVY6B0/ref=cts_sh_1_fbt

Generally I find that with Danskos, I need to wear up a size to get the right fit. In Euro sizes I usually wear a 38 (which is 8.5 US), but for Danskos, I wear a 39 or 40. I usually order in both sizes from Zappos and pick.

I finally got fitted for running shoes and was measured at a men's size 7 extra wide. :O That translates to a women's size 9 extra extra wide.

Before I got pregnant with my first, I was wearing a 7.5-8 regular width shoe. I think the sizing is a bit off because the 9s were wayyyy too long. But still!!

The biggest issue is the width... I know I have always had slightly wide feet, but now I'm realizing that wearing regular width shoes on a daily basis is probably causing issues! The salesman squeezed my feet and said "there's a bone here, you need to respect the bone." I haven't been respecting the bone and I've been having foot pain!

Where do you shop for wide (or extra wide...!! or extra extra wide!!) width shoes? I'm good for running shoes for a while, so what I'll need to look for in the future are dress shoes, maybe a pair of heels, etc.
