@photojane: I was wondering about this cause R is starting to stand up. And everyone seems to think she will be walking by Christmas. Right now, size 2 shoe's we got from someone are huge on her. We bought 6-9 month shoes from the classifieds and I think both her feet could fit in them.

@photojane: yeah, baby shoes are so tough with the sizing!! But robeez are very flexible. Wagon Jr. can even squeeze into LMW's robeez. haha. I think they are size 6-12 months and he is almost 4!

When WJ was a baby his feet were so chubby I could not squeeze them into any size robeez... so we bought the target brand, Ministar, which were wider. I brought him with me to try the shoes on him... that's what worked best! I bought his pedipeds that way too (Tried them on in a store, then ordered them off amazon).

@mrs. wagon: I think Robeez are so cute. They have some cute soft, Robeez-style shoes at Target that I think are super cute, but I wouldn't even know what size to buy. She's still not fitting in her 3-6 month shoes that were gifted her before she was born. I hate to buy anything in 3 months at this point!

I bought boots for LO last winter (Sept birthday) so his feet would stay warm. I bought him sandals over the summer. He started cruising and walking with assistance in June. I wanted shoes so that we could take him outside or in public and put him down to stand/walk/cruise. We don't use the shoes inside our home.

ETA: Both pairs are from Stride Rite.

I didnt put shoes on my LO til she was actually walking and even then only when outside. When it was cold I just put on thick socks or tights and then wrapped her in a blanket

We never used shoes until DD was 1 year and moved up to the toddler room at her daycare that required them. At that point she was already cruising, but not quite walking yet.

Did/do you put shoes on your non-walking baby? Sadie is standing, and showing signs that cruising is in her near future, but she won't be walking for a while. It should be getting cooler here soon, and I'm wondering if I should buy shoes. So far on the cool days I've just put her in Trumpette's. I feel like shoes might be a waste for a non-walking baby, but I don't know if just socks will be enough. Thoughts?
