Yes, I TTC for 7 months. My cycles were 23-32 days. The short ones always weirded me out! I was having 8-10 day luteal phases so I assumed that my body didn't give enough time for implantation. For the 7th cycle, I started making a ton of changes. I quit coffee, I started taking vitex (for hormone regulation) and B6 plus some other standard vitamins, I went to acupuncture, and I used OTC progesterone cream starting 3 DPO. I just wanted to see if any of it would lengthen my luteal phase. I didn't get to find out because I got pregnant that cycle and tested positive 9 DPO. So either my luteal phase was going to be longer, or I got an embryo that made the trek faster than usual. Good luck to you! The book Taking Charge of Your Fertility gave me a lot of the ideas once I read up more on luteal phases and did a lot of googling. :)

@oskarsmommy:
I had some cycles like that. Usually 26 days but a few that were 24 days. Basically I was still breastfeeding so I believe that had some impact. My luteal phase always ranged from 9-11 days after 1 year pp. Before I stopped pumping at work (at 1 year) my LP was only 7 days. So it lengthened a little bit after I quit pumping at work but I continued breastfeeding (anywhere from 2-6x a day) and I still do breastfeed (2x a day usually)

I am 8w pregnant and the cycle before I got pregnant was 24 days long with a 9 day LP (O on day 15). So maybe the cycle I got pregnant was one I had a slightly longer (10-11 day) LP? She did BF a bit less the cycle I got pregnant (2x versus 4-5x she did other months) so maybe that helped. I did take B6 but I had a stomach flu around O so I actually only took it about half of my TWW. I had taken B6 in the past and it did help lengthen my LP by a day.

@oskarsmommy: I think miscarriages can really screw with your body sometimes. I had another miscarriage after I got my luteal phase back to normal and that time my cycle bounced right back immediately (and I got pregnant that next cycle and all seems to be going ok thus far).

This was the handout with my diet rules (first few pages are some general guidelines and the last few are foods to focus on during the various phases of your cycle)... https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1OR-GYGDpbScl9jSDhRT2U1Ukk/view

It's hard to know what really helped me since I tried everything all at the same time. I was also taking herbs from my acupuncturist. Cutting flour and sugar was tough but I definitely think the diet helped me a lot.

I had a miscarriage in Jan/Feb. I too am doing Accupuncture, and have been taking b vitamins and iron supplements (as well as eating as healthy as possible).

Do you remember any of the details of your diet? Perhaps I can ask my acupuncturist for some help.

Thanks for replying

I had a really short luteal phase for several months after I miscarrying at 6 weeks. I started doing acupuncture around the same time and was put on a diet by my acupuncturist (which focused on eating lots of whole grains for vitamin B and dark meats for iron support during the follicular phase) and after a few months it started to lengthen by a day or two each month. After my luteal phase got up to 11 days, I got pregnant the next month.

Have you made any dietary changes or started taking any new supplements that could be contributing to this?

Any ladies have short cycles? And manage to get pregnant? My cycles were always 28-30 days long, and now suddenly they are 23 days long, ovulating on the 14th day. This is now the 4th cycle I have had like this.

Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated.
