My mom had HG really bad when she was pregnant with me. She was hospitalized twice because she couldn't even keep water down. She says she basically started feeling sick at conception. I hope this isn't the case for you, but just saying that it's not uncommon!

I have friends where every woman in their family is throwing up multiple times a day before they are even far enough along to test positive on a pregnancy test! No twins (except for the ones conceived via fertility treatments).

I started feeling sick at 6 dpo. Got my positive at 8 dpo. The sickness never let up (10 weeks now), but according to ultrasound it's just one baby!

My MS started before I got my bfp this pregnancy - so 4 weeks or earlier, and is still kicking around at 14w. Just the one baby in there though!

@TrailRunner: I have had HG with 2 pregnancies, and it didn't really turn the corner until close to 6 weeks, but I do feel off pretty much from when sperm meets egg. I have also had stomach bugs during pregnancy. The difference for me is if it's a stomach bug and I vomit for awhile I feel a bit better. With morning sickness/HG, no matter how much I vomit I never feel better.

HG and twins can be associated with high levels of HCG - I have had very high levels of HCG with my singleton pregnancies. Bad and early morning sickness is also associated with a decreased chance of miscarriage.

@BandDmommy: thank you that link! Ok, so by this I guess MS this early is normal. (I'll be sure to tel my husband to according to his googling he thinks I am either just dramatic or legit illness sick.) I have been able to keep some water down this morning, so it looks like I don't have to be worried about HG. I guess I feel silly worrying about it...thanks for talking some sense into me!

@BandDmommy: I'm honestly not sure why I'm concerned...I guess bc I just figured there's no way this could be MS this early. I was worried maybe it could be a virus or something? What is HG?

Just curious, why are you concerned? Most people like having early pregnancy symptoms. LOL. I think every women is different, some get MS, some don't. Some get it early, some don't. I would only call your OB if you are cramping or bleeding or your MS is so bad you think you have HG. Do you think you have HG?

I didn't feel quite right from 4 weeks and was definitely feeling sick by 5 weeks. I wasn't sick many times but felt sick all day. Hope that helps. Oh, and I'm not having twins...I'm 25 weeks with a little boy :)

@MOMTOLITTLEB: thanks for your response! Everything I read on google was people that ended up with twins, so I'm hoping for some people to say that they got it this early without twins! Not that having twins wouldn't be a blessing, but omg daycare!

I think it is normal. I did not experience bad morning sickness but I had a few pregnancy symptoms very early. For me, the nausea and stuff got worse as the weeks went on for awhile so I hope that doesn't happen to you! Maybe you are having twins ;)

Hey Everyone! I was hoping someone could reassure me or help me out here. Since yesterday I have been experiencing what seems like morning sickness to me. I have vomited several times already this morning, and I've only been at work a little over an hour. I ruled out a food borne illness bc my vomiting yesterday was induced by a weird smell, and my first vomit this morning was the same. The last few times I have literally ran to the bathroom bc it just hit me like a wave. The thing is...I'm only 4w3d. I don't have an appointment with my doc for about 3.5 weeks to even confirm pregnancy, so I thought I would ask you all if you think it is normal for it to hit this early or should I call my doctor.?
