If you don't get anywhere with billing or the doctors office (they always give me the runaround), call the hospital/clinic and ask for patient relations. This was a scheduled procedure to attempt a ECV for my breech baby, after being sent home I did come back 3 days later to reattempt (which didn't work). The first appointment, I was hooked up to the NST for an hour before she sent me home. The first bill is ~$400 and the second is ~$600. Should I have to pay the first bill? I feel like the hospital should take the hit on this one because they were the ones who sent me home! </p>
