I also chose them over newborn photos since DH and I were not a fan of Anne Geddes style newborn photos (and newborn photos were more expensive than maternity).</p> <p>While I love our maternity pictures and don't regret that I have them, I do regret that I didn't get newborn photos. That newborn phase goes by a lot faster than the pregnancy phase, with less time to take nice photos. So if i could go back in time and choose one or the other, i would choose the newborn photos.
