I'm super-lucky in NZ we have a brand of bra called Rose and Thorn that has flexi-fit technology. I'm up a cup size to an E as well but can still wear my DD bras comfortably (for now anyway). There's definitely something special about these bras because my other bras are strangling me at this point!

I'm only 5 feet tall too but small breasted. I. My first trimester I went to the bathroom at work and noticed my boobs were bursting out of my bra when I looked at myself in the mirror. I went ahead and bought new bras then. I just bought some that were on sale at VS because I wasn't planning on breastfeeding at the time. Either way I would have needed to buy new ones after the baby because now at 9 months PP they are close to the size they were before I was pregnant. I would say buy some but try and find a sale!

Toward the end of my first trimester I definitely needed a new bra (up a cup size) and invested in a good VS regular and strapless in my new size (with room to grow). They have worked great the rest of my pregnancy and are now just getting tight at the very end. I would definitely recommend a regular bra until you deliver and are really in need of that nursing ability.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago prepregnancy I was in a D cup which I have been in since high school but two weeks ago ( at 12-13 weeks) I started to feel uncomfortable so I went to Lane Bryant and got sized and come to find out I'm now a G cup so I brought two for now (even tho they don't sell maternity bras mines fit fine and comfortably) but signed up for a Lane Bryant card so I'll probably order three more and that's it for now unless I stay this size.

So I would suggest you buy a few now just to feel better but don't over do it incase you go back down afterwards. Good luck

@Danizaur: Try Dillards if you have one near by. I used to work there so I know they do fittings.

Hmm. I have never been in a nordstroms and I'm not sure if there is one near me. My area is pretty rural. I'll have to look and see.

EDIT: I just did a search on their website and the only one in my state is 2 hours away and doesn't even open until November!

I am not as large as you but I couldn't believe how fast my chest grew! Like I bought new bras at 9 weeks, then went up more. I think motherhood does fittings but might not have a broad range of sizes. Maybe nordstroms?

I swear as soon as i bought a new bra, my breasts would get bigger. It's as if they said "I have room" and then expanded accordingly. Sigh. I'm not buying any more until after Baby is here.

I bought two new bras & a pack of cheap sports bras at kohls with my kohls cash. It was worth it for me to have my ladies well projected. They hurt so bad in the first trimester! If you want to try & save money buy nursing bras just a smig to big as you will probably grow into them.

I wore normal bras until after baby was born- Nordstrom has some that are around $28 that go up to larger sizes. Nordstrom also is great for fitting bras. Just buy bigger ones and get some strap extenders so that you can minimize the back rolls... I noticed that helped a lot through the end of pregnancy/beginning of having a baby until I lost my baby weight.
I would save Motherhood for when you need nursing bras.

Anyone have any suggestions for the best place to buy maternity bras? I'd prefer to get fitted. I'm pretty sure Motherhood fits bras but I don't know for sure. It's hard to find good bras for larger chests anyway.

I always say invest in better bras. I'm super busty too, but after my initial growth in the first tri, my cup size didn't change all the way through nursing. Everyboobie is different, but support makes you feel better about yourself.

Chica, I'm there with you. Before I list weight last year, I was an H, and afterwards, I was a GG. Whelp, I'm 7 weeks and already even the H bras are...snug. So yeah, I'm going to go get one, because I don't do no support.

Okay here is a little bit of a back story about me. Im only 5 feet tall and relatively slender. I've been a chesty girl ever since middle school. I was a full C through high school and at my wedding, then I gained that "happy marriage weight" and went up to a D and then a DD. I lost all that happy marriage weight and my boobs stayed the same. I'm still a DD.

Now I'm 14 weeks pregnant and unbelievably my boobs have already swelled/grown. I noticed just now I have some major side boobage spilling out of my DD bras and I have to keep adjusting myself.

I still have a long way to go...I don't want to invest in new bras (money is tight with all the baby expenses coming up!) just yet if I will just need to get even BIGGER ones later on in the pregnancy.

What would you do? Plus I'm super bummed about even BIGGER boobs!! I didn't think they would grow this fast. Ugh. Any advice about breast changes during pregnancy will also be beneficial to me. :(
