I would. Since you didn't have trouble conceiving once you went off BFP, I think it would be worth it to go back on it since your periods are so unpleasant currently.

I was off the BCP for almost a year prior to TTC. So I voted no.

My first period postpartum was crazy heavy and the second one was wonky, too, but then they evened out and are actually so much better now than they were before I got pregnant. I'd give it another month or two to see if this is your new normal or if it's just taking awhile for your body to figure things out.

I'd say it depends on your history with bc. BC never helped my period symptoms and actually think made them a little worse. I went on a limb and after having LO tried an IUD and had really bad side effects, so I'm staying off of birth control. I think if you have a specific BC you've had good success with in the past, go for it!

I would! I wouldn't get an IUD or Nexplanon or anything for that short of a time but I don't see the harm in the pill.

I did after each pregnancy and was only on it for about 9 months or so. I get off of it, wait 3 months, and I get pregnant. Works for me!

Artificial Hormones screw with fertility IMO, so I say no :)

I got my period back around 9 mo pp. I just got my 2nd one, and both of them have been painful and HEAVY. Like, double up and change on the our heavy... We're thinking of TTC next summer, so if I go back on, it'd really be for like 6-8 months. Is it worth it? I don't mind going back on it, last time I conceived 3 cycles after I came off of it. But it also seems kinda lame to just get back on it for not even a year.
