I also found them inside the boot seal (the rubber ring) if our front loading HE washer - that was gross because they were all wet and I have no idea how long they were in there. I also recently found some in my underwear drawer so I guess they cling to my bras or underwear too. I have been trying to move to plain white socks for DS, although I'm a sucker for cute socks and I guess I could use a small lingerie mesh bag if I really cared too much. I've noticed the kids socks with some anti-slip rubber writing on the bottoms of the feet don't cling nearly as much and because it makes the socks a little heavier I find them easier.
