I said maybe so, cuz it would depend on his weight. Would it hold him?

I have one that turns into a toddler chair and I'm planning to store it away for future LO's because I don't think Lo will get much use out of it as a chair.

I'd put it away, I don't trust my little guy with anything that rocks- with his lack of coordination, he would end up in the ER. I found a toddler chair for $40 at Homegoods that he loves.

I actually had put ours away in the basement and then got it back out a month ago to see if my son had any interest in it (he's 16 months). For the 30 seconds a day he actually does sit down he does like it for watching TV or reading. If you have a fairly big room where it's not in the way and no other smaller chairs, it's probably worth resurrecting.

I'd keep it. DD was 2 1/2 when DS was born and we had a hard time keeping her out of/off the bouncer seat; she loved sitting in a chair that was just her size, unfortunately it wasn't made for toddlers and was borrowed.

I think it depends on what other kid chairs you have. If you have another reading chair then I would get rid of it.

We still have ours out! I used it as a baby container when he was younger then he ignored it as he got older, started cruising and walking. Then suddenly he started climbing back into it to play with the toys, etc.

Of course, we keep ours out mostly for DD's (4.5 months old) benefit as a baby container but even so our DS (17.5 months old) still climbs into it. He climbs in and out and in and out and will sit for a few minutes but not very long. So does he actively use it as a chair? No, but it's a great distraction!

He likes to sit in his $5 adirondack chair more :) Or the bean bag.

We have something similar and LO loves to play with it. He doesn't sit in it as much as he likes to push it.

So our bouncer (http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Infant-Toddler-Rocker-Safari/dp/B00A4B34IA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1373993064&sr=8-7&keywords=fisher+price+bouncer) has served us very well when DS was smaller, but as he's approaching his first birthday, we found that we haven't used it much except to keep him out of certain places, but he figured out how to bypass it, so now it's just sitting around. I want to put it in storage (read: store it at my parent's house - not enough room at our place), but was wondering whether I should keep it around as a toddler chair. What would you do, or what did you do with it?
