@regberadaisy: Well you could do 2 things. 1-pump, and when she wakes to nurse, hope that she cuts that feeding out since she doesnt get much. Or 2-let her have that nursing session, and try to cut down the rest of the wakeups. I know its frustrating. hang in there

@LivsMama: she's 16 weeks, so almost 4 months. I would say last couple nights that first waking she is genuinely eating!
The other ones are more comfort nursing.

I stopped pumping at night for the same reason and have been depleting my freezer stash.

I'm sorry your LO is waking more often...that sucks! Is she super hungry when she wakes at 10/11?

I say you shouldn't pump...maybe use some reverse psychology and e sleep gods may reward you, you know? :)

How old is she? Also, when she wakes to nurse, is she using you for comfort to go back to sleep, or is she genuinely eating? If she is comfort nursing, Id say pump. If she doesnt get much, she might be less inclined to keep waking up for that feeding if its not worth it.

For the last week or two I have started pumping after LO goes to bed. But, that was when she was sleeping from 730pm-2/3am and it took only an hr to put her down. Now it takes almost 2 hours and she doesn't sleep till about 830pm. And she can be up at 10, 11 or midnight. Last couple nights more than 10/11. I was trying to pump at 930pm.

I had planned on pumping over the weekend, so excited that I was going to have something to freeze! But since her frequent wakings I decided not to pump bc I was afraid there won't be anything for her to eat.

So, should I pump tonight?
