He would get his arms and legs stuck in between the slats. Now he likes to sleep with his back pressed up against it. You know what sucks? Being woken up at 2am and then having to do the whole bedtime routine just because of a stuck foot. At the time, she was able to roll herself over so I felt okay about it. I took down the bumper maybe two months later? It didn't matter in the end since she didn't even move when swaddled. LO is almost 7 months and will sometimes bang her head or get arms/legs caught between the railings. Last night she was sitting up in the crib and banged her head when she fell down.</p> <p>Should i get a crib bumper (despite the fact that they are discouraged) or just accept that LO's head is going to get banged up once in a while? </p>
