I had a July baby! We used the BOB for Stroller Strides (didn't do full out running with it), off-road and the zoo with the Keyfit adapter. I was nervous to use it for jogging with the car seat adapter due to the stability concern noted in the owners manual. Also, depending on your weather...BOB is great for snow as compared with other strollers.

By the way, the car seat adapter for Keyfit is very secure. It's a tipping hazard that you'd worry about, not the car seat falling out.

@littlek: around what month did you know that your lo had good enough head strength for a run? also I just read that it's not recommended to run with the car seat adapter since it's not bolted in. did you use the adapter for jogs?

I'd keep it. I used the infant car sea adaptor and would go on long walks with the BOB until LO got good enough head strength for me to jog.

You can only use a Graco, Peg Perego or Chicco Keyfit infant seats with the BOB so you'll have to check compatibility.

I loved the Bob even before she was old enough to run with. Walks are much more pleasant with the Bob.

I would just keep it. You can get the car seat adapter for the BOB and run on pavement as soon as they have good head control. And the BOB is also just nicer for places where you'll go off road like the park or a zoo visit. We also have an UBV and a BOB and we've used both from the start.

lo is due in July and we already bought an UBV. I am a big runner and registered for a Bob running stroller which was recently purchased. Since the website says you shouldn't run with baby until 8 months and at that time it will be winter I'm wondering if we should just return it and use the money towards other things and then purchase the Bob next Spring?
