Pumping this early could actually lead to oversupply (which is as big a problem as under supply and a pain to deal with). I think as long as he's still gaining, you have no reason to stop pumping. Concern would arise if your supply couldn't keep up. Now we've got him to latch and I'm bfing him. Wondering if I should still pump. He's 11 days old and 6 ounces away from his birth weigh but gained 2 ounces within two days, so dr was happy. </p>
