Looks like I should definitely take it! Thanks ladies.

I think I am just dreading pumping after having more than a week off (so glorious!). And hauling the bulky bag on the plane felt like a PITA! But I am soooo not ready to wean!

My SIL pumped in Vegas while we were there (although she actually carried it all back, it was a huge PITA), and it didn't seem like too much of a hassle. I was kid-free at the time though, so I didn't pay too much attention to the logistics.

I'm at a similar stage (14 months) and I took my manual pump to Vegas last week. It was mainly for my comfort. I was glad I brought it.

FYI - if you need to refrigerate your milk call the front desk and they'll let you use the minibar for cold storage.

Yes...even if you decide to wean I think you'll be super engorged since you haven't really started the weaning process yet. I'd worry about mastitis if you just go cold turkey for a week straight.

I would! I plan on taking my pump on an upcoming weekend trip. I will probably pump twice a day.

I would... if you're not ready to wean, there's no reason to let this trip be the end. Since you're not planning to keep the milk, it doesn't sound like it will be a big hassle.

LO turned one last Friday. He has been off bottles for several weeks, and will drink pumped breastmilk, or almond milk out of a zoli cup. For about a week now he has been sleeping through the night (FINALLY) with no feedings. We nurse first thing in the morning, and at bedtime. I have also been nursing him on my lunch break for the past year. Although, he rejected me at lunchtime yesterday for the first time :crying: and just wanted solids. I have already stopped pumping at work completely.

DH and I are headed to Vegas next week. We leave early Monday and come home late Friday. I wanted to keep nursing LO morning and night for as long as he will let me. So I thought I should take my pump and pump morning and night (just dumping) to keep my supply up.
Is it worth it? Will it work? Or is it time to wean? :( It makes me sad!
