Leave him - my son was a chronic catnapper but once we got on a 2-3-4 ish schedule he started taking 2 decent naps (1-2 hours each).

Whenever they consolidate naps they'll start napping longer. As long as it's not the last nap and it doesn't interfere with bedtime, I'd let them sleep!

Yep, let him sleep. My LO is 5mo and normally cat naps, every once in a while he will have really long naps. It never seems to impact his sleep overnight (unless it is too close to bed time). I would leave your LO sleeping.

Long story short, baby has always been a great nighttime sleeper and horrendous napper. He's 5.5 months. Yesterday I gave up on the third nap and tried a 2-3-4 schedule and it worked amazingly! He put himself to sleep for both naps, a small miracle! First nap this morning, went right to sleep. This has NEVER happened. Well, he's still sleeping and it's been an hour and 20 minutes. Unheard of. Should I wake him up to keep to the schedule or just let him sleep as long as he wants? Usually a long nap is 45 minutes so this is unfamiliar territory.
