They'll snag on carpet and things and it's really uncomfortable for them. It's easy to trim them. If they don't like it, wrap them in a towel and just pull out one paw at a time. If you press in the middle of their paw, their claws will come out. Otherwise, they poke holes in my leg when they make biscuits! They're too dull to really do anything otherwise. Do you trim her nails? I would work on that. And disengage her any time her claws are out. But make sure she has stuff to scratch on. My cats never rough play with me like that and I always directed them towards appropriate stuff to scratch. Should I worry about my kitten scratching me? She's 5 months old and very playful. She likes to hide around corners and leap on my legs with her claws out and things like that. She also likes to wrestle and kick me with her back feet. She doesn't scratch as much as she did when she was younger and it's never out of anger. I'm just wondering if I should discourage her from playing rough? </p>
