I think he's just not interested in DISCUSSING this kind of stuff. Sometimes he has questions about stuff and wants answers, but he wants them to be vetted, for lack of a better way of putting it. If we're trying to make a decision on, say, whether or not to CIO, he doesn't really get why I like hearing other parents' experiences and tips and such- he wants to know if there's any peer-reviewed data on the subject.
