Apparently it is illegal for us to drive the Rover over water because we could contaminate the water with earth germs. So we are already on our way to having a solar system wide government. The materials there said NASA should be able to do it within 30 years. This initiated a huge convo between my husband and I about whether or not we should fund a NASA mission to Mars. IMO, definitely we should. I think it would be insane for private companies to have space travel capabilities beyond what the government can do, just because surely that presents a security concern? I mean, once Elon Musk establishes a super weapon on Mars (lol, kidding!)😉.</p> <p>Any other space nerds out there who contemplate this stuff? </p>
