In the end, we did curtains on every window, with connecting rods bought at Ikea on the cheap. I haven't figured out what I'm doing downstairs, if anything, and I haven't done anything in our room yet because of laziness/funding has gone to more important items. There's just one big bay window made up of four angled smaller windows, and I'm not sure if I should do a valance or actual curtain panels! I'd love to see your own solutions :-)<br /> Thanks! </p>
