I did get it on sale, so that helped. We got the bed in white, and then the Jenny Lind nightstand and bookshelf in raspberry. We kept her old Ikea dresser. I love her furniture so much, for me it was worth it and I hope she'll have it for a long long time. I have no idea what to buy her, other than that ideally I'd like this to be the bed she sleeps in as long as she lives in our house. We may buy her a dresser right now as well, if I like the one that matches the bed and our budget allows.</p> <p>Also if you remember and are willing to say....would you please share the ballpark range of what you paid for it? I've not bought furniture in the US in years and really don't know what I should expect to spend. I have some wiggle room, since I'm working on one lump budget for the whole house rather than room by room...but I'm trying to keep in mind that she's 4.5 and stuff is going to happen to this furniture. </p>
