We got it 6 years ago and still really like it! I wanted to get Simple Human, but DH didn't want to spend the money. They look so well made!</p> <p>We have a round one from Target, but I forget the name of their homeline brand. If I had to do it all over again I would get a bin with a really wide opening like the Simple Human ones because it's less messy for throwing away things like meat containers. The trash side is a bit smaller than 13-gallon but I don't think it's too small. We take out the trash probably every 3 days or so? I really like having the recycling too, although that needs to be emptied more frequently in our house or we end up with a pile or separate bag outside the garage door. Most of the ones I have seen that combine both recycle and garbage are super tiny though. I am looking for a good size 13gallon trash that is practical but also nice. If you are happy with yours can you please share a picture or link. </p>
