But I think it's just us; weather by us is either too cold or too hot, so it's hard to find the perfect time to be out. And it gets too smokey for our liking too. We totally wanted to be the cool sit by the firepit for hours people! But you seem to have so much space, that I'd for sure build one. It's easy to rinse off with the hose and has held up perfectly for three years so far.
