My sister loved it. It ended up being about $15 a person. That is so awesome of your friend!! I think one of the best things you can do for her is have a great time and let her see/know that you are having a blast:). A card and some sort of gift or gift cert is great as well (or you could take her out for dinner -- to get some good girl time in before baby comes -- not sure if possible though if you live in different cities!), and if appropriate you could also help by staying after the party is over to help clean up! Well somehow my amazing BFF has managed to plan one for me, and she totally surprised me with the news last week. It's for this Sunday, so while I'm thrilled, I haven't had a lot of time to look into my responsibilities.</p> <p>1.) What should I do for a thank you gift for her? She is totally my BFF. I know it doesn't have to be anything huge, but if you guys have any suggestions for something super clever, I'd be so grateful!</p> <p>2.) She mentioned that she is going to get Olive Garden soup and salad (one of my fave chain meals and DH does not like to go so it's kind of a thing her and I do together) and that some other people are bringing desserts...I feel bad not doing anything to help. Should I offer to bring stuff or pick stuff up? What is my role here?</p> <p>So just any info about showers in general would be appreciated:) I didn't have a wedding shower either due to the fact we just moved to SoFlo and didn't know anyone here...So I'm clueless! </p>
