I hate being the center of attention so I really wanted to keep it small and intimate. I had a blast!</p> <p>A shower at a house is always comfortable and cozy. I personally love going to showers at people's houses. But on the flip side, you end up having to do the clean up afterwards. Whereas at a restaurant, it's not as cozy but there's zero clean up! Probably 40-ish people, pretty laid back with a bbq, drinks, and socialization. I told my mom I don't want embarrassing shower games and would prefer not to have to open all of the gifts as I think people find that boring. We're shooting for 6/23 when I will be almost 35weeks. It was small and simple at my house. I did not throw it, nor was it my idea. I think that is WAY too much stress to put on yourself when you're also pregnant. I would suggest, if a friend or two doesn't step up, to ask your Mom to take charge.
