I would have welcomed any celebration for my baby, I wouldn't have cared if it met all the criteria for a traditional shower or not. Really and truly, it is the thought that counts! I was planning to host/organize a brunch or lunch for her and her friends to celebrate the new baby. Before I could offer I saw that she started a 'Baby Shower for New Baby' board on Pinterest. From the pinning I would conclude that she's throwing herself a shower (she threw the one for her first). </p> <p>I really don't have the time or energy to throw a full blown shower. I barely got through making my last new mom friend a drop off meal. Offering to host a non-pinterest worthy meal is pretty lame if she wants a shower, right? </p>
