i've often thought about this as my eldest sometimes takes a bath with her dad and sometimes with me. our kids are the same age right... Feb 08? i just don't know... she hasn't asked anything either yet. same situation in preschool where she goes potty in front of all the boys and vice versa. i think they don't separate boys and girls in school bathrooms til kindergarten, but I could be wrong.

anyway, i'm thinking maybe another year or year and a half with her dad... with me, we'll see!

I don't think he's too old to be showering with you. Every child is different, so I'd keep doing it until he starts making comments about it? I think 6 might be too old, but who knows these things! :)

DS is almost 4, and I still shower with him. He always sits in the bottom of the tub, and plays with his toys, with his back to me so he doesn't get water in his eyes, while I shower. Then he stands up, I wash him off, and run him a bath to play in while I get ready.

I always figured that by the age of 3 he would be too old to shower with me, but its so convenient, and he has never asked questions as to why I look the way I do and he looks the way he does or anything. Its like he doesn't notice.

Is he too old to be showering with me? How old is too old? Would it be ok if he were a girl to keep showering with me? What are your thoughts on this, because I have no idea!
