Yes, almost immediately (first tri) he stopped going down to sleep like usual and required us to hold his hand until he fell asleep. :( They understand way more than we think!

No personal experience, but my friend is due next month and her 3 year old daughter started acting like a baby a couple months ago. she'd crawl into her daddy's lap and asked to be held and rocked like a baby. She'd even coo and babble like a baby instead of talking. Needless to say, they're nervous about the arrival of their new bundle!

DS is 20 months old, and I don't think he really gets it. He might have been acting slightly different during my first trimester, when I didn't feel well and I was on the couch a lot, but now he is fine. Soon, like in a few weeks, I won't be able to carry him (he's 30 lbs! and a big boy!) and I know that'll set him off, but I don't know how aware of the pregnancy he is. DD, however, is 3.5 years old and she had a weird regression thing recently. I need to remind her to talk like a big girl, and she started having accidents during nap (something she never ever did!). I was surprised this happened, since she is excited to have a baby in the house.

Ds is barely 14 months but I think he senses a little one is coming! He's been acting so funny...super wound up at night before bed, waking up early thrashing around and will only sleep if I hold him. Not like him at all! Did yours sense a sibling coming especially if the were really young?
