I'm really into washing my hands and I imagine that'll help. And trying to avoid touching his hands/face should decrease the exposure too. LO had a brief bout of croup at about 5 months, but other than that was never sick, even when DH and I were. Sometimes if we had bad colds, we'd see LO get a little snottier than usual, but it was never even enough for daycare to say anything. If you're nursing let baby nurse a lot. RJ was NEVER sick, until the very first week we started him on formula-- he got sick right away. I wore a mask while taking care of LO this evening (I went back to work so I only see him from 3pm until his bedtime.. which is around 6 - 7pm)... I'm really afraid of giving it to him! I'm also worried that he already caught my cold and it's just hard for me to tell? Is it possible? How did you prevent spreading your cold to your LO? </p>
