I spent a lot of time closed up in the bathroom with the shower on super hot to sit in the steam. Hot water and lemon helped to soothe my throat too. Just rested and stayed hydrated. Make sure you monitor your temperature. I just toughed it out and had lots of honey and lemon. That's daycare for you. That being said, it sucks that you can't take meds (other than tylenol) on the up side, being sick is good for baby. Because you are giving him/her more antibodies when sick. I had to tough it out with no meds so I felt like crap for longer than normal, but I just drank lots of warm water with lemon and decaf tea. Nothing too serious....battling runny and stuffy nose, slightly sore/tickle-y throat, congestion, and throbbing headaches. I haven't taken any medicine mainly because I forgot which ones my doctor gave the OK to take. But at the same time, wanting to tough it out and not have to take any medicine.</p> <p>Did you get sick when you were pregnant? Did you take medicine or fight it off naturally? </p>
