@Tionn3: Hehe, lesson learned! Be proud of yourself for making it through!! At least it wasn't sleep AND illness all in one!

@graceandjoy: I put him to bed early the night before we left and we was a completely different baby the next morning. He just needed sleep. Unfortunately, Disneyland was way more challenging than I expected, thanks to a heatwave ( the heat made my son miserable) and my overestimation of my 3 year old nephew's ability to share a room with my 16 month old. It didn't go very well, there was not much sleep going on those 2 nights. I think next time we go I'll just take my mom ( my DH doesn't like Disneyland, so I always need a second adult to come with me) and make sure my son is alone in the child part of the family suite. Oh, and I'll never go during a month where it could potentially be hot. I'm thinking November - February, lol.

@Tionn3: I’d take him to urgent care or his pcp tomorrow am to get his ears checked. That sounds like Abby when she has an ear infection. No real loss if not. I took her in with the same symptoms a month ago expecting to hear I was crazy buuut she had a raging double ear infection.

I'd still go unless he really seems out if it...I had this happen recently although it was a tummy issue and we went. It ended up fine and I'm so glad we went! Kids tend to bounce back pretty quickly unless it's something like flu..... I will add though that I got advice on here saying to cancel mostly....seemed to be bc people were concerned about my sick kid getting others sick

@graceandjoy: @JJ2626: That is what I was thinking. He actually doesn't have any respiratory symptoms, so maybe it's teething or just exhaustion and the "fever" was from crying hard at daycare.

I would go unless the fever spikes. Sounds like just a cold probably.

Same idea. As long as he's not SUPER sick where it's def not a good idea to travel, etc. I'd go and see what he's up for doing while there.

@Tionn3: That sucks! I'd say that if you can't cancel the hotel room just go anyways and if LO seems to be feeling better tomorrow then you could tackle Disney too? If not, enjoy the staycation!

My 16 month old didn't sleep well last night for reasons I can't figure out. He was up at 1:30am, 4am, 4:30am, and 5am, He has done this before when he gets teeth...or gets sick. The daycare called my husband and said he was really fussy and had a fever of 100 (which technically isn't a fever, you can have a temp of 100 just from crying hard). Maybe he's getting his molars? Maybe he's getting sick ( I was sick last Wednesday with a fever for 2 days). My husband thinks he is just exhausted (his naps haven't been good this week at all).

Here's the kicker, we're supposed to leave for Disneyland Saturday at 6pm. I don't know what to do. I'm seriously panicking. I bought park tickets and reserved a hotel room and everything. =( I can't cancel the hotel room because the deadline to cancel has passed. The tickets are at least still good till like January 2021 or something but still. Any advice? I live in SD so it's about 1.5 hours to Anaheim where Disneyland is.
