I was being jaded (thinking I wasn't preg) and I took Nyquil and a Sudafed... But the one thing that made me feel better was acupuncture! I'm sticking with just plain old Tylenol to help with the sore throat and then steamy showers to try to alleviate the congestion. I took it twice around week 7 because I wasn't getting any sleep or keeping anything down thanks to gagging.</p> <p>ETA - my list is about the same as artbee. I got pregnant on the first try the first time around so it seems likely that could happen again. I just got back from a vacation and I'm terribly sick with a head cold. Given the chance I could be pregnant I'm really nervous about taking any medicine. Is there any cold medicine people had their doctors suggest while pregnant or TTC? I feel silly calling my doctor with questions when I don't even know if I'm pregnant yet. I can't test until next weekend. </p>
