Oh no!!!! I never had that type of sickness while nursing, but I was sick with the flu and an ear infection when LO was around 4 months old. I was sick for 10 days and DH was out of town the entire time...

I thought I was going to die.

@Rubies: I tried taking her into the bathroom with me still latched on. My husband helped me with my pants. I was so sick, though, I couldn't keep her on. :-(

Oh no! I had stomach issues once too but thankfully she was finishing and just comfort nursing. SO I pulled her off and gave her to my mom.

I had a crazy 24-hour bug back when LO was about 4 months old and I thought I was going to die. MY mom came over and at one point, I had to ask her to hold LO to me for her to latch on because I didn't have the strength to hold her myself!

I hope you feel better!!!!

Oh boy. My Mom is in town and made dinner tonight. Everything was drowning in butter. Guess what? Since I've been eating healthy since having M, my belly did not agree with it. I've been in the bathroom and curled in the fetal position on our bed for a couple of hours now. I had to pull M off during a feeding because I had to go. I feel horrible! I thought I would be able to finish but I couldn't. My husband took her and fed her a bottle. :-(

How do you handle being sick with babies?
