I had that, too. I was actually terrified of ecoptic as well because I had some pretty severe pains on my left lower abdomen around 4 weeks, then when I went in for my ultrasound she remarked that the baby had implanted over on the left, so there you go. But yeah, definitely call your doctor if you're really worried!

Yeah def call your doc just to be sure. Mine told me all kinds of stretching and growing pains can be normal but that I should always call if the pain was localized to one side.

I would call your doctor just to rule out ectopic. Better to check than to spend a bunch of time worrying!!

I remember having some side pain early on like you as well (26 weeks now)..... I was pretty crampy in general and I'm not sure what it was! The cramps and pains went away around 7 weeks though. --- of course now I'm getting the RLP pretty bad!

Call your doc to be safe, but just wanted to let u know I remember having something similar!

It could be any number of things, i.e., round ligament pain (especially on the right side) or cramps from slower digestion (being pg can really slow things down) . . . The RLP can be strong/painful, too. I had RLP early in my pregnancy (I am almost 33 weeks now) too, and I was surprised that it was as painful as it was. I would call your OB's office and just ask a nurse or your Doc- it is so much better to know than to worry.

I'm 4w5d pregnant, and for the last several days I've been experiencing some fairly strong pain in my sides.

I can't quite describe it - it's sort of like cramping, kind of like a stitch in my side like you would get after running.

My friend is telling me it's round ligament pain from my muscles stretching, but isn't it early for that?

In the back of my head my paranoid self is going "Ectopic Pregnancy?"...

Anyone else experience this?
