Hang in there. Baby's first illness always sucks. When LO got his first cold, I practically cried at his coughing. I hate baby coughing.

Poor thing! I wonder if it's Roseola since the rash developed after the fever broke. But I don't think that would explain the vomitting.

I thought I was finally getting a handle on this mom stuff, then LO (14 weeks) got sick. She had a very high fever Saturday night and Sunday so we took her to the ER Sunday. They did an exam and a urinalysis and couldn't find anything so told us to monitor it. We kept giving tylenol till Monday morning, then i let it wear off and she seemed mostly back to normal, though tired (not surprised, as she barely slept the previous day/night). Then she was fussy again all night last night (but still no temp), so I chocked that up to her having slept so much the previous day. Took her to daycare this morning and got a call 1.5 hours later asking me to come get her since she was throwing up everything she ate, was very pale and had developed a rash.

I picked her up. She still has no temp but is definitely pale and rashy. She's dozing lightly now in her swing (and fussing in between) and we have a Dr. appt at 1:45.
