<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm an infant sign instructor, and I've seen parents make all sorts of modifications. Basically, I believe that as long as both you and your LO know what the sign means, go for it! Any communication is better than no communication.

<description>&#60;p&#62;We taught our daughter only a handful of signs.  So did the signing time lady. Anyway I am too lazy to look up the correct sign and too dizzy to remember the real one so i end up making up some. She gets it for the purpose intended.  I want to  make up a potty and poop sign because i think the potty one is too hard to do.
