Give the girl a bow for each hand and you've bought yourself 10 minutes. Give her a string of fake pearls (supervised), and you can drink a cup of coffee.</p> <p>Same thing with a cup of multi colored Sharpies. One for each hand and girlfriend is happy as a pig in poop. If you give her the whole cup (again, supervised!) you might get 20 minutes. He plays with them almost daily!</p> <p>He likes to play a "noodle" game with our living room throw blanket. I hold one end and he twists himself up like spaghetti on a fork. He finds it hilarious. He also pretends it is a cocoon and then when he comes out he is a butterfly.</p> <p>He also is obsessed with cutting paper. I was lucky to save one. Last time it happened our closet was practically wallpapered in them!</p> <p>LO1 is 3.5 and can be occupied for the longest time by cutting paper. He had a set of plastic scissors that kind of ripped paper and loved it so we got him a Melissa and Doug pair of scissors with a pad of pictures and things to cut out. He is obsessed.<br /> LO2 is not quite 2 and anything Thomas related will keep him happy longest. He spent about an hour spraying every thing I would let him and then wiping it with a rag.
