They don't want to get in a situation where "we" (me and my sibs) take advantage of them because my SIL would be the one to hang that over their heads. If they took care of my DS, then they would "owe" them babysitting their kids(bro and SIL). I don't want to put my parents in that situation (I dislike my SIL for this reason).</p> <p>My DH's parents they may not have the energy to take care of DS. They would be willing, but I doubt they have the stamina to do it. They are quite a bit older than my parents.</p> <p>I'm doing my search now to see what options are available so I can do interviews via skype. My DH's friend is getting married on Dec 28 on Singer Island Florida. We are from the mid-west and know no one in that area. The bride and groom are also not from the area as well, so we wouldn't be able to get a recommendation to a babysitter. I've also called the hotel, and they do not have child care services nor can they recommend one either.</p> <p>I'm at a loss about what to do at this point. So this is my "hail mary"... Anyone from West palm beach that can reco a babysitter? Or what have you done in this situation?</p> <p>****side rant**** who gets married at a destination wedding three days after Christmas and a majority of the guests have young children and they sent an invite stating "adult only reception" ****rant over*** grrr. </p>
