It takes a bit to dry if you ring it out. You can also wash them in the washing machine and put them in the dryer too. My kids did as a newborn, but then didn't for a long time. Recently though we had to put one of them in the sink to wash them off for some reason and since then they will occasionally ask to take a bath in the sink! I'm not complaining because it's fast and easy and they surprisingly still fit, and they think it's so fun! I remember seeing pictures of myself as a 4 year old taking baths in the kitchen sink :) </p>
