@agold: unless I’m mistaken I think you can choose how far down you want the caddy to sit in your sink. So you might be able to make that work. I’m sure it also depends on how tall the brush is.

@SweetiePie: I like this one because of the brush! Does the brush peek up over the edge of the sink, though? I hate seeing the brush!

@meadow: I'm so happy to know that I am not the only one who runs the dishwasher daily!! And yes.. I just lay is flat across the bottom, so it has to be a fairly empty load. And my rack is actually split into two pieces (one bigger for the bulk of the sink, and then one smaller for just over the drain hole that is on the side of the sink), so that helps I suppose having the smaller-ish pieces.

@Ajsmommy: we have a similar sink and use this simple human caddy. It is truly stainless and still looks good after over a year of use.

@meadow: Haha I get you. My dish washer servers more as a drying rack b/c of the amount of dishes!

@agold: Oo, I never thought to try to put that in the dish washer! Ours is huge since we have a large farm house sink; I'll have to see if it fits in there somehow!

@agold: yes, I did eventually realize that I can just barely fit it in the dishwasher but our sink is fairly small so not sure works for larger sinks! @meadow: same problem with full dishwasher until I realized I can put it standing up on the end of the bottom rack parallel to the door (if that makes sense!).

@agold: I think I did that once....my problem is the dishwasher is never empty.....I run it daily after the kids dinner and when it's done around 9pm.....we always have more dishes from adult dinner or cooking of that didnt fit to fill back up :p

@graceandjoy: I do love that part.

@Ajsmommy: what about a spot in the dish rack. I used to keep mine wedged in the little bar that was meant for cups (does that make sense?)

@Ajsmommy: I have a metal rack thing that goes across my sink that actually came with the sink. So I'm able to rest the sponge on that. But I actually can't figure out a good way to store the handled sponge on the sink in sight. I hate the look of them and I've totally stopped using them because of no way to conveniently store them. Maybe under the sink?

@petitenoisette: I have a metal rack in the bottom of my sink. I put it in the dishwasher. Are you able to do that? (Am I supposed to do that, or no? yikes! I don't know!) Anyways. Its easy to clean that way and we clean the sink each week while the rack is being washed.

Oh yeah I have the metal grid rack too. It gets nasty, I have to really scrub it like once a month. But I like it; I don't like stuff touching the bottom. It's nice to be able to have my dishes sit on the rack and then I can wash all the food/sauce whatever down the drain.

I use something that suctions onto the inside of the sink as well, I like it because less clutter on the counter top! I do have hand soup and bottle brush on the counter. I have the OXO one that comes with a stand already.

We have this metal basket that suction cups to the side of the sink. Works great and I love that everything is mostly out of site. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UVCY18Y/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

We also have the metal rack that goes into the bottom of the sink which I also like bc I feel like it’s “clean” vs the sink. Con is that it’s a pain to clean and I end up letting the sink itself get gross bc I have to take the rack out to clean it.

So we just moved into our new home and the sink is a large single in our island. In the old house we kept our brushes and such behind the faucet up against the wall but that's obviously not an option here. I'd like to keep the stuff "out of sight" but also easily accessible.

We could put it in the cupboard below but i was thinking some sort of a sink caddy that could hang from the bottom of the faucet would work....does this exist? Anybody have one??

We did see some sort of metal drying rack that goes in the bottom and thought that'd be good to dry the dishes in....??
