They were great. We also did camelbak kids cups (straw cup with soft bite valve). It took about 3-4 weeks for him to go from chewing the spout to sucking with us tilting it back for him to him gulping water out of his sippy all day long! The biggest plus though is they don't have a million pieces! She didn't really get it until more like 10 or 11mo. One day it just clicked. We've also tried Nuby. The Zoli cup was nice but it was $15 and I left it at the playground one day. No more expensive cups for us.
