She was born at 37 weeks which was really unexpected. I actually think its good to prepare to go late in your mind but early in your outward preparations (I hope that makes sense). So I'd have my affairs in order for sure but emotionally prepare to wait a bit. I went late with my son and I became a monster so I'm hoping I won't feel so anxious and nuts the next time. I carried so, so high the entire pregnancy and she just never dropped. I was carrying very high, not dilated or effaced at all. She told me I would probably need to schedule an induction at 42 weeks but we could discuss it at my next appointment. I went into labor 1 am Sunday morning the day before my due date. Haha</p> <p>I've heard for second babies they drop all of the sudden? Saw my OB and he predicts this baby will be late, just like baby #1 (41 weeks). He didn't even bother checking my cervix (it was closed shut a few weeks ago).</p> <p>If you were late with #1, were you late with #2? Anyone have baby sit really high until the end? </p>
