I don't always think it's the best thing when I see super littles ones that, when surrounded by exciting things, will sit for extended periods. My son started day care at age 2 and I was freaking out because the kids had these little spots on the rug that they were sitting at on cue, and my son would just continue doing what he wanted.</p> <p>Peer pressure got him sitting in the circle, once he realized everyone else was doing it, he did it to. Does preschool/daycare require this of your LO? How do they handle it if your LO doesn't sit as long as they'd like? </p>
