If I didn't take a steady dose of motrin (prescribed by my midwife) then I wouldn't have been avle to get off the couch! Most of the time I had to lay down. I had an episiotomy and 3rd degree tears, but I really believe the pain is all mental! I was sore... But I feel like I was SO SWOLLEN that the pain didn't really hit me until a few days later. Even then it wasn't too bad. I am 16 days pp and still sore, but its very dull. I can't wrap my head around it.. When I had LO I couldn't sit like that for weeks! I was always leaning back on something so that there was no pressure down there. DH had to help me up and down for at least a week after we got home. I really want to know what the secret is because I was MISERABLE! </p>
