Ours hit around 5 weeks and it was rough. She was very fussy for a few days, but the main thing was her feeding increased dramatically. She was nursing non stop. It lasted less than a week, and then she started sttn!

I don't remember her sleep being messed up, but just she ate all the time for a couple days.

@lawbee11: pretty much all of this. It was either extra sleep or no sleep. And she always eats a lot but it was maybe a little more in the evenings. Our worst day ever was te day she turned 7 weeks- we were both crying by the time she went to bed. It's been much better since then and she started occasionally STTN.

We just went through ours. I think it lasted 4 or 5 days. It was really random--some days she would sleep way more than normal and other days I couldn't get her to nap longer than 30 minutes at a time. She was also fussier than usual. She's always eaten a lot (and often) so that wasn't anything out of the ordinary for us. The past two nights have been awesome (long stretches and only one wake up), so I am hoping we're done with it now.

Talk to me about your baby's six-week growth spurt/fussy period. How long did it last? Was baby sleepier than normal, or awake ALL the time? Any sudden issues with feeding (crying at the breast, etc)?

Honestly, I'm just struggling through it at this point, and am interested in other people's experiences.
